MakerSpace!

On Friday (3 February) we did some MakerSpace in the afternoon.  We had to make something and work together as a team.  We had half an hour to make something out of string, newspaper, sellotape,  plastic cups or a shoebox.

We learnt how to help each other,  agree with the people in our group and how to make something cool (like punching cardboard with scissors to make a hole).

 

This group made a house.  Inside it has newspaper and it had no sellotape to hold it in!

We made a house and we added string on the inside.  We worked together as a team!

These girls made some swings - they have string for the swing.  Next time we are going to listen to each other.

We made a kite.  We tried to wrap the string around the cup.

We made TV room/meeting room.  It had a seat that could turn into a TV.

We made a boat.  The cool thing about it is that the sail is sticking right through the cardboard.  It also has an anchor!

This week, we are going to have a different challenge.  Think carefully about how you could make something very very very very tall.... You will find out more on Friday!
