The house across the road

This morning we went for a little walk outside of the school grounds.

We could see:
- There was a truck lifting a broken house, Mahlia
- A tall crane, Beia
- A truck lifting the house, Paras
- There were some cones, Emmily
- Builders drilling into the house, Hayley
- A house cut in half, Rocky
- A crane about to lift up the other half of the house, Jake
- A broken cupboard door, Veisinia
- There was no door on the house, Teyah
- A long long trailer, Eli
- The trailer had wheels that could go up so the house could go on the trailer, James
- People under the house fixing underneath, Greta
- Wood under the house, Zaira
- People were putting straps on the house, Thea.

Why do you think that they are moving the house?
- It looks old, Lucy
- It is old and they are not going to sell it, Sam
- There is going to be a new house, Nicholas
- Because it is really really old, Devon
- They might have another house coming in, Olivia
- The people don't want it any more because it is too old for them, Daniel.

Where do you think they might be taking house?
- To the country to a farm, France
- To River Road, Karannpriett
-  To a grass paddock, Isabella
- To Raglan, Nixon
- To a place where they can rebuild it, Greta
- They might be taking it to the dump and break it down, Daniel
- To the big grassy patch just down the hill, Jake
- To a giant factory to make a new one, Paras
- To the recycling yard, Sam
- They might use all of the parts to make a new house, Zaira
- Some of the parts might be used to get different houses which other people have ordered, Hayley
- A place where they can clean it up, Emmily
- Take the wood off and sell it, James
- Move it somewhere else so other people can live in it, Rocky
