Our Walk to Seeley's Gully

Have you ever wondered what Hamilton East School looked like before our school was built here?

We went for a walk to explore Seeley's Gully 

and follow our Putikitiki Stream.

We saw:
- Putikitiki Stream
- Fish in the creek
- Eels in the creek
- Bridges crossing over the Strem
- Tron Rocks
- A cross that belonged to a dead morepork
- Paper on the trees
- Hawks
- cut down trees
- Eggs (birds)

We heard:
- Cicadas
- Putikitiki Stream water flowing
- Birds chirping
- Trees wooshing
- Wind wailing

We smelt:
- Fresh air
- Mother nature (pāpātuanuku)
- Dead animals
- Dirt
- Dirty trees
- Bird poo
- Hot steaming dirt
- Stinky mud
