Over the past few weeks we have been busy creating our self portraits for display in our classroom.
We started by practicing our sketching skills and using sharpie to go over our sketch.
For the background, we used blobs of rainbow colours around the outside and moved the paint along the page using our fingers! It was very fun and messy! We noticed lots of things when we were finger painting - how quickly the paint dried (or how long it took!), what colours mixed together and how we could create different textures by using our fingers in different ways.
Our portraits are on display in our classroom. We cannot wait until you can come and see them.
