Treaty of Room 20

 Kia ora koutou!

Last week, we finalised our Classroom Treaty and it was full of fantastic contributions and ideas from the students. We are currently learning about Turangawaewae - and the history of our local area. Important and fascinating conversations were had about the Treaty itself. I will share with you our main Treaty agreements (and again, these are things our wonderful students came up with).

1. We respect everyone, and treat others how we want to be treated.

2. We allow everyone the opportunity to learn.

3. We make everyone feel welcome and safe.

4. Always try our best.

These are amazing ideas that resonate with our classroom and school as a whole.
