Today we made bread using a recipe that came from a School Journal. Miss Rasmussen used this recipe in the olden days to make bread when she was young.
The dough was rising in the heat. The yeast is alive and breathing when this happens. If you didn't put oil onto your hands it will turn into a sticky disaster.
It was squishy and sticky when we were rolling it.
We noticed that when it was out of the oven they were much bigger but some of them had lost their special shapes.
They smelt yum and they tasted scrumdiddlyumptious!!
