On Thursday we went to the Waikato Museum with Room 18, 19, and 20.
We went to the exhibition about Galileo. We learnt a little bit about who he was and what he was famous for and then we got to go into the museum. When we were there we saw lots of experiments and inventions that Galileo created.
We learnt that he was from Pisa in Italy and he did many of his experiments using The Leaning Tower of Pisa. He did not invent the telescope but he innovated it to be up to 30 times stronger. He discovered that the Earth goes around the sun, not the other way. He also did a lot of experiments about gravity.
